From the time I was in high school my mates (or anyone on Myspace) always called me Batty, becuase I adore bats, they’re my favourite animals.
But Rae is my middle name, so it progressed from plain old Batty into Batty Rae =)

Oh dear….lol….ten things my goodness.
Here we go.

1. I was born and raised in Sydney =)
2. I work in a homewares store and help people decorate their rooms and homes. I love all the linen and bedding and decorator items! It’s so awesome to feel like people trust your ideas =)
3. I’m studying to become a high school teacher - yes tumblr is extremely insightful for what I should expect =| lol
4. I bake and decorate cakes and cupcakes and cookies for fun. I’ve made wedding, anniversary and birthday cakes in the past.
5. I love love love polka dots and stripes and any other kind of patterns =)
6. I’m a natural blonde but every now and then another colour comes in, at the moment it’s pink, I’m thinking of doing a bit of pink and a bit of turquoise =)
7. Dane and I have been together for almost 3 and a half years, I couldn’t imagine my future without him. We moved in together in July last year, it’s been hard but I think if we had our own place it wouldn’t be so tough.
8. I’m an absolute hopeless romantic, for sure, I love all that icky, lovey dovey, random flowers, chocolates, date nights, thoughtful stuff =)
9. The 3 main people in my life are Dane, Casey (nephew) and my brother Josh. If anything happened to any of them, I don’t know what I’d do =(
10. I was doing a diploma of fine art, although I’d never say I was an artist, I still draw every now and then but my heart really lies with printmaking.

My favourite piercing is probably my Monroe. I think it’s the most flattering anyway =) Especially after a lady told me my septum was ugly yesterday hahaha.
My favourite tattoo, I’d say is still my anchor, heart and cross on my leg, I still love it to pieces. ( I still love all my tattoos but…) it was amazing to see I  took in a few pictures and said this is basically the idea (I couldn’t find anything similar online) and he created something even better out of it. I guess that’s why I now have a sort of designated tattoo artist =)

Although this is kind of a random question lol.
Vampire Diaries…Story line is hotter. But I don’t mind Twilight, I think it’s more of a tradition for Dane and I considering we save the first one on our first real date =)
Both female figures in the film and tv show annoy me - get some independance women! They aren’t good role models in my eyes.
